Tulum is one of Mexico’s most popular archaeological sites — and it’s easy to see why. Perched on cliffs overlooking the bright turquoise Caribbean Sea, the ancient ruins offer stunning views that leave a lasting impression.
While the structures may be smaller than those in other Maya cities, Tulum’s unique seaside setting sparks the imagination. It’s easy to picture Maya traders arriving by canoe and being greeted by locals who once stood where you stand now, taking in the same breathtaking scenery.
